The modern man stays home with the kids so his wife can have the career. But now it’s summer break, the kids are off school, and what is a stay at home dad to do. In this deck, Vision will stay at home and give his daughter some chores to do. He has even offered to make her an Honorary Avenger!

Being the doting father that he is, he has provided some new toys to help his girl enjoy her summer. He has a pile of new things to play with, including Power Gloves and a Reinforced Suit! Always staying up with the latest tech includes fashion. As she is now 16 and wants some freedom to hit the road, Vision bought Vivian a Sky Cycle (and she has promised not to text while driving it). With her new toys, and lots of free time, Vivian is feeling Inspired to make her father proud.

Suit Up is going to do some heavy lifting here, as Vision won’t flip to hero form for much game. Suit Up will help us find Vivian, and an upgrade that can be attached to her. Once she is in play, it will fetch Wonder Man (for theme reasons) and whatever attachment Vivian still needs, and he is able to fetch the Avengers-only upgrades. Wonder Man himself can be spent as a resource to pay for the attachment. Vivian will eventually be stacked with Sidekick, Honorary Avenger, Inspired, Sky Cycle, Reinforced Suit, and Power Gloves making her powerful and versatile, able to thwart or attack for 4 and then do an additional damage with the Power Gloves. And she can do it a lot thanks to Sky Cycle, Command Team, and Reboot, and First Aid.

The trick here is being able to change your mass form, which can only be done in hero form. For much of the game, Vivian will want to keep threat low with her big thwart, so starting in Intangible form is fine. Eventually, you’ll be ready for damage on the final push. At that point you can flip up, change to dense, and start to go wild. Machine Man can be used for damage and pumped up with resources from Quincarrier, Solar Gem, and cards from hand (which you’ll have plenty of thanks to your AE form and Avengers Mansion). Wonder Man can also be used for more damage when you’re in AE with his big attack stat and cheap cost.

Once Vivian is completely set up, and Vision has his upgrades in play, you can flip and end the game. Machine Man can also be played at any time and pumped up to thwart or attack, and be recurred with 616 Hickory Branch Lane whenever you need to. Meditation helps us pay for whatever we need, since Vision will be in AE anyway…Avengers Mansion, Quincarrier, Vision's Cape, Solar Gem, Command Team, and Machine Man are all targets for it.

If you need to flip up and help Viv at any point, you can! You may also want to take damage so that you can recover and boost Vivian’s health. Then get back to reading the paper and enjoying your summer.

@Man-is-Obsolete vision is just the best!

@Daring Lime thank you, but sidekick isn’t doing much of the work here

Hi @boomguy, why are you not flipping Vision every turn? It would let you get more out of Sidekick, change mass form, ditch those two First Aid, and manage minions better for 1ER every other turn. Is there a benefit to staying in alter ego I'm not seeing, or is it more a theme thing? My reason for asking is that I have a bit of a passion for frequent-flipping decks so I'd want to play this as one if it works that way.

I'm also missing how you play Quincarrier with Meditation when there's only one Honorary Avenger in the deck.

@adsarf This is 100% a theme deck! In no world do I think keeping Vision in AE for 90% of the game is the way to go. That's also the reason for including Wonder Man! But you will have to flip sometimes in order to take damage if you want to use the recovery on Sidekick. However, if you're flipping a lot then I think you would change a lot about this deck. Also, if you're leaning away from theme then you'd change a lot too. This is meant to be a fun theme deck, so just lean into your hot android summer!

In terms of playing Quincarrier, you're right. You have to be in hero form to play it! That was an oversight.

@Caldias honestly, kids are hard on their reinforced suits and a guy can only get some many stains out
