Introduction

My take on an Ally Voltron build focuses on 3 allies - Giant-Man, Iron Man, and Ronin. I chose these allies because they benefit the most from upgrades, and each ally has it's on unique strengths and weaknesses.

Allies that I use:

  1. Giant-Man is the most expensive ally at 6 resources total, but he does the most damage - 10 damage a turn with Inspiring Presence.
  2. Iron Man is the cheapest ally at 3 resources total, but he does a respectable 6 damage a turn with Inspiring Presence.
  3. Ronin is the middle ground. He costs 4 resources total, and he does 8 damage a turn with Inspiring Presence.

Upgrades that I use: These are the most obvious and straight forward upgrades to use.

  1. Inspired
  2. Reinforced Suit

Upgrades that I don't use: I don't want to invest too many resources into a single ally. You have more options and deal more damage if you have multiple allies on the board.

  1. Sky Cycle
  2. Power Gloves

Gameplay: The basic idea is to use Call for Aid to pull an Avengers Ally on turn 1. You really want to hard mulligan for an ally on turn 1. Once you have an ally down, use Captain America to defend while you build that ally up. First Aid and Team Training will help keep your allies alive, and Inspiring Presence is this deck's combat trick.
