This deck was created to play alongside Quicksilver (deck: Threat? Let me at it!)

This deck has a lot of setup cards that can be put in play during the game. Early game each hand can have more than one of those cards. The way I played it was to start with the two copies of Energy Duplication. But you can go multiple ways. Soaring Acrobatics is also a great card to put in play early on.

During the game available resources can be expended by Deft Focus (great for the Spectrum events) and Team-Building Exercise (great for playing great but expensive allies). Helicarrier has been added to provide this extra discount for the expensive allies or to assist your companion.

Once set up it's easy to play events as Dive Bomb and Gamma Blast. Once you feel there easy to play, the end of the game is at hand. Getting there makes One by One, Skilled Strike and Toe to Toe great.

Especially Toe to Toe surprised me. Word is, Spectrum can get stuck in the 'wrong' form. Most of the time it refers to Pulsar. But when you're in that form, with Soaring Acrobatics out, you have a five defense. Making use of this card just great. Taking down a minion or doing damage to the villain, no problem, you're only taking a little bit of damage.

Ready to Rumble makes it easier to decide to defend against the villain when you're already in Pulsar form. Playing Photon Speed or Gamma Blast can get you ready for the fight. It also triggers when you heal in alter-ego and flip up again.

Boot Camp makes your allies stand out. Thor and War Machine come with a nice though status. Put them on the table, defend with them, and there ready to do some damages. The other allies each provide there own thing. To play them, they can all use Team-Building Exercise, all avengers or areal.

I had a great time smacking down the Mad Titans expert campaign alongside Quicksilver (two-handed solo).

If you play this deck, I wonder what you think of it. What possibilities do you see (yes, I know there is this thing called Honed Technique), what changes did you make, what are your thoughts.

But farmost, have fun with it!
