LACK OF SUBTLETY · 2492
I'm headed to the DC convention and want to try out some PVP while I'm there. So I've made my first attempt at a PVP deck. The first mistake I made when making this deck was thinking that effects that target "an enemy" could target the other player, so that is a heavy feature here, but...I still don't hate this deck. Especially if I get to team up with another player in 4-player pvp. Feedback from players who have actually played PVP is very welcome.
It's intended to provide quick setup and start delivering damage. It has a secondary goal of providing stuns and having a few tools to assist with piercing tough and providing a little assistance with thwarting.
It's an Ant-Man deck, so form-changing effects are in abundance with Resize, Giant Strength, Ant-Man's Helmet, Surprise Attack and Ready to Rumble.
Next, Stuns are on the table from Mockingbird, but more regularly from Wrist Gauntlets, which also offers Confused. More tools in the toolkit include a tough from Throg, anti-minion and thwart from Into the Fray, multi-target from #melee, overkill from Hand Cannon, and piercing from Piercing Strike and Wolverine.
2 copies of Aggressive Energy are here to bump up the damage of the 11 attack cards in the deck.
The goal is to bring a deck that can provide rapid damage while having a variety of tools to deal with enemy minions and defenses. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to improve it.
Looks good! Save me a PvP game, friend!
