Call Kenny Loggins... you're in the Danger Zone

Seeing there was finally a chance to finally give Longshot a purpose, I completely forgot the x-men trait is required to play him. So I've made some changes to the deck:

• Remove:

  • Longshot
  • 2x Protective Training
  • X-Mansion
  • Danger Room

• Add:

  • Cannonball
  • Cosmo
  • Starhawk
  • Sidearm

While going through Falcon's hero cards, I kept thinking there has to be something that makes him better than what I've tested so far. I love his hero form potential, preventing and controlling the board. But how could I optimise Falcon's awesome hero ability, his strong defense AND make use of his alter-ego potential?

I love his interaction with Gambit, because you can plan on when to play him, waiting for more boost icons to pop.

Alter-ego advantages:

• Dr. Sinclair (played using Quincarrier) + Down Time = heal 5 HP + remove a status card
• Soup Kitchen + Down Time = heal 5 HP and reduce the cost of an ally (Redwing recurrence potential right here!)
• Ready for a Fight (played using Quincarrier) + "Stop Hitting Yourself" + Change of Fortune + Unflappable + Defense Specialist = switch to Hero form and hit hard (a potential of 8 dmg * ) and draw 3 cards if you defeat a minion.

Hero form advantages:

13 of his cards have a hero form requirement, and Team-Building Exercise has a hero action too. This makes switching back and forth a good strategy.

• With Team-Building Exercise and Falcon's Flock, you will be able to play one of his event without reducing your hand, which gives you a chance to play Ready for a Fight and Redwing most turns.

• 6 DEF:

  • hero's base DEF = 2
  • Vibranium Microweave = +1
  • Armored Vest = +1
  • Defense Specialist = +1
  • Soaring Acrobatics = +1

• 2 dmg:

  • Dauntless = +1
  • Electrostatic Armor = +1
