Part of my deck series for Con of Heroes 2025, where I am publishing each deck that I brought to the con. This is my fourth year at the con and I can't wait for more--this promises to be the best one yet!

  1. Play your Guardian allies to draw cards with Knowhere
  2. Buff allies with Energy Spear, Sidearm, and Boot Camp
  3. Cycle the rest of them and let them do big damage!

Don't be afraid to use those growth counters to defend your allies or do other things. No need to wait for the big events and save them up. I will use them to trigger Groot’s upgrades, or absorb damage. And in a 3-4p game you can afford to stay in AE more frequently.

This deck was built to be played with Star-Lord Leadership.

See the excellent deck my MrSelfDestruct that this is designed to be paired with:

https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/49141/lord-have-mercy-coh-25-1.0

Star-Lord will play Team Training and Guardians of the Galaxy onto you, and you will share Boot Camp on him. Share your ally upgrades liberally between the two decks, use Knowhere on anyone that plays an ally, and As One! can hit for big damage when you’re ready.

Because this is intended to pair with a specific deck, there are no Avenger targets for As One! to be found here. This deck is entirely viable in solo, but I’d swap those three cards out for an event of your choice. Additionally, I will sideboard Helicarrier and add it if someone at the table is playing Build Support.

If you enjoy this deck, please check out my other published decks for the Con of Heroes:

  1. Spaceman - A protection Venom deck built around Stand Together, meant to play well with other Avengers and Guardians, themed around an obscure 2008 track from The Killers
  2. Fist Bump - An aggression Captain America deck built around including only physical resources, and getting the most value from Super-Soldier Serum, to push damage and trigger Hulk for +2 damage each activation
  3. Basic B!tch - An all-basic Jubilee deck built to maximize her hero cards and produce wild resources
  4. The Indomitable Iceman - A protection deck that leans into defending for the table as much as possible, using Indomitable, Never Back Down, and Desperate Defense to get card draw and keep everyone safe

You can't beat a man and his tree, you just can't. As One is so fun in this combo build, huge damage and keeps the allies from taking consequential!

I definitely don’t want to say anything bad about it tree. It looks pretty aggressive. I hope to play with this tree

Wait, you can make paired decks with your friends instead of just making them all by your lonesome? (Scrolls through rolodex)

This looks amazing. Would Flora and Fauna, their team up be the 44th card?

@InigoMontoya sideboard…I don’t really run team up cards unless I’m playing with the hero at the table.
