This deck is all about Honey Badger. Her uncapped ability to Ready Up! X-23 is bonkers, allowing us to have multiple Attacks.

We are going to "Voltron" Honey Badger with cards like Danger Room Training, Inspired, Reinforced Suit, Sidekick, and even Clarity of Purpose. Pretty standard "Voltron" build out so far.

Our other Allies are purely there for chump blocking and threat handling. Our highest cost card is only 2, meaning we will be able to easily afford anything in our deck and get Badger online quickly.

Now for our Ready Up! cards. We have 3x Command Team to Ready Up! Side-by-Side which will Ready Up! both X-23 and Honey Badger as well as either heals us or increases our ATK/THW by 1. Our best Ready Up! card is Game Time. It can only be played after we get Danger Room Training on Badger as it requires and ally with a "training" attachment. But after that is on, it's a 0 cost Ready Up! that also heals 1 DMG.

Here's a wombo-combo for ya:

  • Exhaust Grim Resolve to generate a for Claw Mastery.
  • X-23 basic Attack = 3 DMG
  • Exhaust X-23's Claws to increase our ATK by 2. Take 2 damage, Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Exhaust Command Team, Ready Badger!
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Exhaust Command Team, Ready Badger!
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Play Game Time. Heal 1 DMG from Badger, Badger Ready Up!
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Play Game Time. Heal 1 DMG from Badger, Badger Ready Up!
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Exhaust Command Team, Ready Badger!
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG
  • Play Game Time. Heal 1 DMG from Badter, Badger Ready Up!
  • Badger Attack = 3 DMG. Badger takes 1 consequential, X-23 Ready Up!
  • X-23 basic Attack = 5 DMG

That's a total of 64 DMG!! That's enough damage to progress the Villain through both stages. Just don't do this if the Villain has retaliate XD

The same strategy can be used with Thwarting. X-23 has a respectable 2 THW, and with multiple Ready Up! opportunities, you'll be able to work down any scheme that gets out of hand. Or you can do a mix of both, 30 damage and 20 threat removal is still insane!

This build requires less of an "engine build" and more of just getting Badger prepped. Once Badger is online with at least 5HP, it's a waiting game until you get a hand full of Game Time's and Side-by-Side's.

Don't mess with these besties, they don't play nicely
