Assemble a team to let others take the stage while you sneak around in the background, creating a perfect situation for a simultaneous assault!
Th crux of this deck is to stay in stealth form as much as possible to allow for threat stacking on the suit for your watch, and to build up allies who can do the heavy lifting. This means that it is, in my opinion, the best home for Mission Planning!
Because we want to keep allies in play by buffing their health with Team Training, healing with a well timed Rally the Troops, and eventual uses of Mission Planning, and, most importantly, lacking the need to block with them, we can use the allies that don't work in many other decks that are meant to be activated repeatedly.
Maria Hill, Cable, and yourself will be the main thwarters of the group, with Maria being particularly important to keep the watch stocked up.
Black Knight and X-23 are the main minion killers, with X-23 being particularly effective for swarms, and Black Knight countering your Nemesis Set and other toughness based scenarios as we are really good in pumping one big attack with our Assault, but not great vs tough.
The rest are flexible to fill in the gaps, with small utilities all over. Gambit and Melinda May for encounter protection and prediction Adam Warlock being particularly flexible if you can set up your hand. Vision for tossing unused lightning resources, or Clarity of Purpose.
The rest of the cards are there to get utility from your allies during downtime, with Strength In Numbers drawing cards from the likes of X-23 when there are no minions, or emergencies with Command Team allowing multiple uses when necessary (or for those (unlikely) extra explosive back to back Mission Planning turns).
Because of how little damage you will be taking and how much recovery you have between your identity and Safe House #221, Clarity of Purpose fills a great space in the deck, alongside Mission Leader to keep our hand full .
If you're looking for space to add other cards:
VisionVision is our weakest ally, he is expensive to play and takes our rarest resource. I like him due to his high boosted stats that you can wait to use, and his synergy with Command Team. If you think he is too slow, put in Giant-Man, Hawkeye, Snowguard, Star-Lord, White Tiger or even Yondu. Snowguard and Starlord are the most interesting, with the former having high stats and flexibility but locking you into only one function, and the latter being cheap and the encounter only being drawn once because of how long you tend to keep him around.
Mission Planning is technically a win more card. It does nothing for us before being built out, and even has a condition to play it. It is included in this deck because I believe this is its best home because of the opportunity that Nick has to collect allies that want to stick around. But you could easily cut it for anything else, or simply for a smaller deck.
