This deck centers around X-Force allies, using them to quickly clear side schemes and clearing minions while giving them enough health and healing to stick around once they show up. It does not focus on player side schemes very much so it's best used in scenarios with many side schemes.
Ideally, you want to get an ally into play on turn one, either by playing them from hand or via Call for Backup. Graymalkin and Helicarrier are your primary economy cards, but Deft Focus will help you play your few but important superpowers and Mission Leader will draw you a card here and there.
If possible, you should only flip to alter-ego via Bodyslide, so Professor is a fairly marginal card.
Your Plasma Rifle is unlikely to get a full charge until the late game (and only if you've used Forced Amnesia or if there are scenario side schemes that get added to the victory display), at which point you should have two or three allies hitting for 3-4 damage each on the table anyway, so it's mostly useful for clearing Tough cards.
Your allies are strengthened in multiple ways. Team Training and Reinforced Suit gives them extra health, Inspired increases their ATK and THW, Uncanny X-Force gives them even more THW and makes them able to take on side schemes without consequential damage, and Advanced Suit allows you to spend cards to heal them when they defeat a minion or side scheme. Together with your First Aid cards (when you don't need those yourself) you should be able to keep most of your allies around once you get them into play, justifying their relatively high cost.
For a scenario with a lot of retaliation, replace Reinforced Suit with Sidearm. If you need more thwarting, consider Frenemies - Deadpool is likely to stick around once you get him into play, which makes this more playable. In a scenario with fewer villain side schemes, add a few more player side schemes.
