Gunboat Diplomacy updated with some of the new toys from Fear No Evil and Jessica Jones.
Innate Perception is a game changer for Cable as it allows him to clear a great many schemes on turn 1 without assistance from an event card. I personally like to start Build Support and use that to get Quincarrier. This keeps Cable in good economy for the game, although there is a chance an unlucky event card could disrupt it.
Between Call for Backup((Manifold can help grab this) and Chance Encounter, it should be no problem to get Gambit out and have him standing by, ready to use Gunboat Diplomacy to help clear threat and kill large minions. Gambit is a good choice as he can lockdown a problematic encounter card and will be 2-3 THW himself. You can try to buff up his THW but in True Solo 5 thwart is more than enough to kill most minions and clear most side schemes. White Queen and Blindfold can stand in for him in if he's slow to come out. Once Gambit is up and running, we want to be recycling Professor X as he's a great blocker and can also give us moments to recover by confusing the villain which in combination with Under Surveillance should make us very safe. But just in case we weren't safe enough, we can take advantage of the power of Gunboat Diplomacy to trigger Stealth Training and get some stuns on the villain as well.
One problem this deck has is dealing with tough status cards because there just isn't a good source of piercing so use the Psimitar or keep another ally kicking around to help knock those off before you blast off.
Specialized Training might seem like you'll want more THW but honestly I find Front Line Specialist more useful as Cable won't typically defend for enough to prevent damage and minions will get through as well.
Keep a Predictable Ploy ready to shut down extra activations.
