Sidekick is very strong with Jessica and her Luke Cage ally. with multiple readies provided by Command Team and Side-by-Side Luke can mix up activations and generating toughs to attack, thwart, and prevent damage to himself and Jessica.

Stack an Inspired on him to boost his stats further, plus added potential from Side-by-Side and he's cooking with a 4/4 with the potential to ignore consequential damage with tough or Mission Planning. Ronin is also happy to make use of Inspired.

With Jessica's ability to freely access alter-ego, Luke can easily get healed when he does take damage, and Suit Up is far easier to play, getting Luke into play with greater dependability. She can easily pump her stats with Moxie and can then combo that into huge thwarts with Push Ahead.

With Luke protecting her, Jessica is free to use her activations (and her readies from Side-by-Side) to build up investigation tokens.

Getting Luke and Sidekick out early is key, but you are also going to want to prioritize getting out Command Team and getting a side scheme in the victory display to make use of Mission Planning.
