This is the first like I have built with Regroup. I thought it would be a fun idea to play "Welcome Aboard" with this so I chose a guardian. My only current guardians are drax, Groot, and rocket raccoon. I figured rocket raccoon would be the best out of all of them. As I was thinking of what to put in I found a great idea, Spectrum. Pairing spectrum with Salvage equals spectrum with five health three attack and five thwart. The reasons to this is because salvage, rockets resource, is a wild and a mental resource so if you combine those the wild gets you plus two to all stats and also, the mental gets you plus two to thwart. This makes a mega Ally who combined with reinforced suit, equals 35 thwart. Add Team Training and that's 40.
Set up: Not much shut up in this deck except maybe Resource Reserve, and maybe team training? You have to basically use resource reserve to save salvage for spectrum. If you get spectrum first just wait for the next deck pass and suit up to get spectrum and Reinforced Suit. The only other really set up is to get your guns. Groot and Booster Boots can be nice for survival cuz as I'm sure you all know rocket raccoon is a glass cannon. Booster Boots can be very good to discard and draw two cards and alter ego to maybe pull off the spectrum play cuz that's what you want to do do cuz spectrum cost five and that is very expensive for most heroes. Alter ego is also very good for suit up to grab spectrum and reinforced suit.
After set-up: Just keep your guns alive with Battery Packs and once you run out of counters on the pistols then salvage them in alter ego for extra card draw. All right Rapid Response is very limited in this deck and I almost didn't put it in. I realized though, Maria Hill, and Kid Omega both have when enters play abilities, rather than when you play from your hand, so when you rapid response them you get their abilities which is mostly what you play them for. The chump blocks are nice though. Rapid Response also goes well with Regroup, because after you rapid response you can chump them and then trigger their ability for a third time and, if you get rapid response again you can do the whole thing over and possibly get four or five uses. That is one of the better combos of the deck except of course, spectrum. As I said before rocket is a glass cannon, so allies is a great pair for him. Tell me what you think about this deck in the comments.
