Iron Man Thorbuster Suit

Defend the table deck that can still have a player phase. Defend for yourself and the table with Defiance, Preemptive Strike and Cuts Both Ways. Convert damage taken into damage and threat removal with Energy Barrier and Ops Room. Then activate with your hero and suit upgrades in player phase. 23 in the deck for that Thor effect and big damage on Repulsor Blast.

Automated Defense

Defend without exhausting thanks to Cuts Both Ways, Defiance, and Preemptive Strike. Preemptive Strike and Cuts Both Ways can pull attacks to you so you can protect others. Can use our basic defense to protect other players if we do not have the defense events. Defiance and Preemptive Strike eliminate the boost icons so you're only taking the Villain's base attack. Energy Barrier and Ops Room prevent that damage, converting the damage to damage output and threat removal. Although the deck defends the table and has damage prevention, it isn't a perfect defense deck. Angel's Aerie accumulates tokens for each defense card you play or basic defense you make. Angel's Aerie can help get us back to full health. Down Time helps to increase our healing factor for stronger scenarios.

Thwart Management

Mark V Helmet and Iron Man's basic thwart for 2 is great for thwarting the table. Arc Reactor to ready for extra thwarts. Ops Room also provides thwarting through our defense.

Damage Buster

Powered Gauntlets deal 4 damage a turn. Energy Barrier is a recurring source of damage. The big damage is Repulsor Blast and Supersonic Punch. Repulsor Blast will regularly see +4 icons in the discard.

Resources Galore

On top of reaching 7 hand size, Unflappable, Change of Fortune, Ingenuity, Quincarrier, Pepper Potts provide a ton of card draw and resources. We will flip to AE at times for the Stark Tower recursion of tech upgrades.

Notes

Deck Cycle. We go through the deck incredibly quickly. It's good for seeing our key cards regularly. We don't need Stark Tower recursion when we can draw 7-9+ cards a turn. We thin our deck out anyway with so much board. Repulsor Blast mills through the deck. We burn through the deck and get extra encounter cards regularly. However, the positive output is strong. Can handle quite a lot of tempo.

Density. The defend without exhausting is good and fun. Cuts Both Ways is a great card in this deck. The retaliate value from each instance stacks up in multiplayer. Desperate Defense is a good substitute. Desperate Defense keeps us ready and can preserve our damage prevention cards better than Cuts Both Ways. "I Can Do This All Day" didn't feel as good, because it is a and affects the damage output of Repulsor Blast.

I always love seeing new ways to play heroes, and this is no exception. Can't wait to see this in action!

Looking at your redrum deck and talking about REC made me remember Jarvis. Should prolly be in this deck. Even higher REC on the turns we do flip to AE after setting up the suit.
