The other day when I saw @villaintheory’s encounter cards I choose you star lord deck I had the realization that Falcons passive encounter card revealing would work well with star lord and built this deck to serve as a partner to it by reducing overall risk. This deck does work well with any star lord deck it’s built a bit more for shield star lord so remove Nick Fury, Sr. and both copies of S.H.I.E.L.D. Deputy and replace it with whatever suits you. My own star lord deck is on the way that best synergizes with this.

Just stick to The plan quill

As falcon you want to set up Front Organization to keep star lords Element Gun or shield supports, get Build Support up and quickly beaten thanks to Leader of the Guardians to help accelerate star lords set up and get #c.i.t.t. To get more use from an ally or star lord in some situations.

Contingency’s

With star lord drawing so many encounter cards stun or confusion is inevitable so we have The Night Nurse on call, If the villain is about to strike a critical blow use Stand Together and exhaust some allies and yourself to keep on moving or distribute toughs with Muster Courage or Nick Fury, Sr. once you Deputize star lord, if you know star lords not at a state where he can handle a minion call them to you with "Come Get Me, Bub!" . Use Vivian to stop attachments or shuffle in The Gardener to provide healing and stop star lord from taking as many negative cards, with Gambit able to store a nasty boost card.

In order to stop damage to yourself get Vibranium Microweave and Energy Barrier up early and utilize your events once you have a least 2 contingency’s up to keep you a factor and have star lord not do everything.
