I've used the original deck, https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/48415/50-is-the-new-over-the-kill-1.0, ever since Nick Fury came out, and it's been one of my favorite decks.
I saw a newer version that cut the deck down to 40 and decided how would I make the same cuts, and I ended up very similar to that deck.
With one inclusion: Air Cover. Ever since I saw this card, I wanted to make a deck around it. And I believe it helps take these overkill decks to the next level.
Here's the plan after you get multiple Follow Throughs and/or Honed Technique in play:
- Air Cover
- Looking for Trouble or Angela
- Marked
- Into the Fray or No Quarter
- Repeat until Villain begs for mercy
Thanks to Air Cover, you don't have to hope you get lucky to draw Marked. And it'll even let you grab them from the discard pile.
