Rely on your hardy allies while you defend yourself and build economy. You have Shake it Off, Shield Spell, Coulson+RR, and a potential 3 defense with Armored Vest (though probably toss the vest if you get Coulson+RR so you have an extra green card for Battle Mage). Flip down to avoid an attack if you manage to use "Think Fast!". Depending on the villain and threat threshold, after Under Surveillance is on the main scheme, you may also be able to flip down with the extra room to breathe.
Boot Camp will help your hardy allies attack for more and you can get them cheaply into play via Summoning Spell.
The combos:
1) Agent Coulson + Rapid Response. For 2 resources, you can chump block and thwart for 2 every round.
2) Husk + Attack Training + Mission/Danger Room Training. Since you have Clarity of Purpose, you can ensure Husk never dies to consequential damage. Depending on cards in hand you may also ready her for burst or give her additional stats.
3) Wolverine + Mission/Danger Room Training means that Logan can thwart for 2 every round without dying. Feel free to attack when needed, though.
4) Rogue can damage Wolverine indefinitely if Wolverine doesn't activate. If you attach Energy Shield, she can stay in play as long as you have the energy. See Clarity of Purpose. Rogue could also touch Husk or Giant man for high thwarts and you could then heal them with a Green Battle Mage ability.
5) Giant-Man + Energy Shield means that he will eventually attack for 4+ every round assuming you have the energy. You can alternatively use the Green Battle Mage ability on him. Who gets Energy Shield between Rogue and Giant Man? Probably Rogue, but it depends on the board state and who is out when you draw Energy Shield.
6) Soul World + Symbiote Suit. Heal massive amounts of health and get more stats for your cape readies with the suit.
Have fun!
