...That It Cannot Be Improved

Shuri is an interesting character and very flexible thanks to her upgrades. This means that the focus here is on activating the upgrades, depending on which upgrade is needed at the time. In order to trigger an upgrade, we need to use a basic skill as often as possible.

Okoye, Dora Milaje, Aneka and Ayo play an important role here. Every time Aneka or Ayo use their basic skills, we trigger the special ability of a Dora Milaje ally. We use Okoye's special ability to increase Shuri's attack value. As soon as Shuri has 3 attack points, we start attacking and play Leading Blow. Of course, it's not guaranteed that our attack value will be higher than the boost symbols, but we basically have a good chance of getting Shuri ready to play again after the attack.

With Med Team, we primarily heal Okoye. Taunt is included if we have received a Tough status card through "Come Get Me, Bub!" so that we can draw 3 cards.

In the villain phase, we want to defeat the minion so that Change of Fortune and Unflappable take effect. As soon as the Villain attacks, we defend with Shuri, which in turn triggers one of her upgrades, which in our case is usually Panther Claws. This allows us to defeat the Minion. Desperate Defense gives us a higher defense value and makes us ready to play if we don't take any damage. If we don't ready we have Indomitable.

If we switch to our alter ego, we use The Elephant's Trunk to draw cards and/or Queen Ramonda to heal.
