Drax and Black Widow sitting in a tree, defending, readying, and damaging while the villain schemes (ok while he attacks, but that doesn't rhyme!).
This deck relies on the 1.4 RRG defense changes to ensure Drax can defend without exhausting, adding cheap high defense amplifiers that result in zero damage kicking off free thwarting and damage during the villain phase just like his new crush Black Widow!
Drax avoids exhausting while defending using Parry, Preemptive Strike, Side Step, and Warning
He amplifies defense values with Desperate Defense, and Expert Defense
During the villain phase he thwarts with Hard to Ignore, and does damage with Counter-Punch, Parry, and Payback
If by some chance you do have to exhaust to defend C.I.T.T . and Indomitable get you back in the action quickly
With very little setup Drax is able to do double damage by hitting during the villain and hero phases, and thwarts almost every turn.
The only drawback is you have to imagine Drax in Black Widow's skin tight onesie!
