This is mostly a safe-pool deck that utilizes Maya's ability to recur her 1x Pool events for more than one use per deck cycle as well as saving the right events for the right time.
We will be using the all of the basic doubles and Pool triples (Self Confidence, Self Control, and Self Preservation) to mainly help pay for expensive cards like allies as well, resource generators (Avengers Mansion and Helicarrier), and events (Mulligan and Cutupper).
We have the usual resource sink tricks for Mulligan: Tic-Tac-Toe (good if you have a 3-boost Gambit or Daredevil for resource generation and the Team-Up), Stick-To-Itiveness, and Machine Man. Tic-Tac-Toe on yourself + The Rez + Healing Factor can help your HP stay high for the Pool triples.
Considering there is only 6 events and the Team-Up and added to the deck, this might seem a little wonky, but it can actually be great. You should be swimming in resources considering all of the doubles/triples, the 3 resource generators, and Nick Fury. This will reliably allow you to play an ally for chump blocking or as a sacrifice for Get in Front of Me!/Not my Responsibility. If you don't have an ally, you can try to get one by using a Mulligan. If the Mulligan fails, you can flip down safely with a stored Not my Responsibility, take the damage yourself, and then heal up using The Rez. You'll also have Endurance for a bit more of a health buffer. All of the Photographic Reflexes + Daredevil can allow you to still play events and have resources for allies, allowing you to get a lot done in a turn.
Your events all serve a purpose. When tucked, they can be used as a toolbox to help you with poor situations:
-Hard hitting villain? Keep using Cutupper for a stunlock. Also it's 8 damage with Echo's Katana.
-Shadow of the Past? Get in Front of Me! to cancel it.
-Playing Nick Fury/Professor X/Headpool/Spider-Man? Get an extra use out of them with Get Rage-y without them dying.
-Poor hand and too many resources without anything to do with them? Use Mulligan.
-Need to flip down to heal, avoid a big attack, or grab a specific event? Use Not my Responsibility.
-See No Evil, Hear No Evil is just a baller event once we get Daredevil in play. We should aim to never let him leave unless it's absolutely necessary.
This is the first version of this deck. Kinda want to toy around with having Lockjaw since this deck can sometimes have an abundance of resources and not necessarily a lot to spend on them. Also would like to toy around with Grant Ward since he's cheap, effective, we have lots of mental resources, and we can get him out of play more quickly with Get Rage-y.
Hope you like and enjoy the deck!
