Greetings all! Here's another deck I am workshopping for Con of Heroes 2026 and I'd really appreciate any feedback folks may have.

This deck's goal is to bump up Rocket's basic THW stat with his Thruster Boots, Heroic Intuition, and the recently added Heroic Conditioning. Once we have a big THW stat, we can thwart down multiple schemes with Overwatch and even do some nice damage with Brains Over Brawn and Befuddle. C.I.T.T., powered by a plethora of doubles, and I've Got a Plan give Rocket additional readies to make good use of his big 'ole brain.

Which brings me to my questions:

  1. Will this deck be effective in keeping threat low? I haven't played a lot of 4p games, but I have often had trouble deck-building that scales to 4p's threat levels and number of side-schemes in play. Building up basic THW seems like a decent strategy to me. It' reliable, as long as I'm not exhausted, and it scales well with Overwatch + the deck's readies. It is reliant on upgrades, but the deck has 3x upgrades that boost THW, so I should be able to mulligan for one of them pretty consistently.

  2. Could side schemes help? Early versions of the deck had Superpower Training to fetch the thruster boots, and Specialized Training to further boost Rocket's THW (and the table benefits too). These seemed greedy to me. If this deck's goal is build up THW, then I don't want to make my build-up strategy reliant on thwarting. The gamer greed in me really wants to add Specialized Training, but I don't see that being relevant before the game ends. 20 threat is a lot!

  3. Anything else I can take out or add? I know Befuddle and Brains Over Brawn are kinda meme-y cards, but I am aiming to make a fun and functional deck with them, that isn't bringing the whole table down. Most of the other cards I added are allies or supports that give some combination of extra thwart, body-blocking, or card draw. Card draw seems especially important for a slightly silly deck, as I want to reliably draw into the deck's "gimmick" cards when I need them.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to playing this!
