First I played Winter Solder with his pre-built Aggression Deck. And he is fun, but did not seem tough. I often had to flip to AE. And even then, he felt brittle. So I changed his Aspect to Protection, and man, I realy enjoyed what I got.

Setup: Most important cards to get on the table are Cybernetic Arm of course (as you can‘t really punch with only one arm, can you?) and then Change of Fortune and Winter Mask as well as Unflappable for your card draw engine. White Widow helps with threat management and gets healed every time you use a prepared card, so she is also quite important.

Mechanics: To use your card draw engine you have to defend (without taking damage) once per turn and defeat an enemy in the villain phase, if possible. So you want to get minions regularly. So this deck works best with villains, that have some minions at least. Get out Anticipation and Silent Infiltration as soon as possible, and use "Come Get Me, Bub!" whenever you need healing, or a tough status, or another minion. Your ways to get rid of minions in the villain phase are Powerful Punch and Riposte, but remember, that you have to defend for the latter one. Under Control is also possible, but still you need to defend without taking damage. Indomitable helps you by ready After defending to be able to achieve this goal. When a minion enters play, use your preparation cards to ready your hero (and heal White Widow by the cost of that preparation card). If you have trouble with the threat, you can also finish a minion in hero phase, but preferably kill the minions in villain phase for the card draw machine. Iceman helps you dealing with minions, when you have no cards to defeat them in the next villain phase and with quickstrike-minions.

Summary: I hope that you like this tougher version of Winter Soldier and have a lot of fun with the indomitable punching machine. Let me know what you think.
