Guns! Guns! Guns!

Maria brings the thunder with her team of heavily armed, newly-recruited SHIELD agents. This deck relies on bringing out allies, arming them, and then letting them pile on the damage while avoiding or healing collateral damage. Meanwhile, she is tanking damage and trusting in her fellow heroes (in multiplayer), or rushing the villain down before they scheme out (in solo).

You have an absolute all-star in Two-Gun Kid. Give him a Sidearm, then since Maria makes him SHIELD, give him a S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm as well so that he has two 4 damage attacks each turn that he can avoid consequential damage with thanks to Field Agent, or heal with a Med Team. Do that twice in a row with Command Team. And for his final trick, equip Bambino on him to give him between 5-7 damage for all of these attacks!

Dust is no slouch as well. Using the same setup she can do the same thing to every minion in play for one point of damage less.

Both Deathlok and Deathlok grab their own weapons on entry and can lend a hand with thwarting, if needed.

With all of these weapons floating around, your options for using Firepower greatly increase, lending Maria even more damage capacity.

As always, don't ignore The Iliad. It's ability to thwart and heal provides loads of survivability for this deck, plus it is your only supercarrier in this deck.

Does S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm actually give him 2 damage per exhaust? I think it would only give him 1, but I might not have that right. Regardless, Bambino is awesome on Two-Gun Kid!

Love it, I didn't get around to proxying Two Gun but my thought was to put him with Maria. Great stuff!

@kmomoney It only provides one damage itself, but paired with a regular Sidearm, they work together!

@Castlefrank47 He's great. For my proxy while testing him, I just used the Winter Soldier ally. Everything on the cards are the same except for text and art.

@LACK OF SUBTLETY I do the same thing if I proxy something. Try to find something thats the same cost and stats, or close as possible. This looks great! I love a good Maria deck that forgoes the popular helicarriers, and especially one that is ally focused

I loved this deck! I was messing with the Bambino idea when Civil war got previewed and Maria Hill is a great choice!!!

@HeroicSkeleton Supercarriers are great, but I do think that her ability to make everyone SHIELD is her second best ability. (The best being SHIELD token manipulation).

@Matafer Thanks!

@LACK OF SUBTLETYCool idea for a deck, might need to give it a try when I get my box!

I'm still struggling to understand the interaction of S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm with Two-Gun Kid though. As the ability is an ping effect from one basic attack, and Two-Gun Kid doesn't do two basic attacks, but rather completes one basic attack against two enemies, would the ping still not just happen once? So paired with a regular Sidearm he would do 3 damage to two enemies, plus ping 1 additional damage?

@Swarles90In my reading of his rules, He makes "A basic attack" and "resolves this attack against each of them". Every instance of attack is singular. So if the same attack is resolved against two opponents, then the SHIELD sidearm would increase the damage of that attack against both targets. This is how damage increases work in other cases, such as when the Thor minion attacks multiple minions with one attack.

I love the directness of this deck! Certainly lacks subtlety. Love it!

@LACK OF SUBTLETY - im sorry but shield sidearm unfortunately clearly is not a part of the base attack but a separate 1 ping instance so Two-Gun Kid would not double it - you have to exhaust it as part of the cost so it cannot be triggered twice.

yes as sidearm increases basic atk value Two-Gun Kid uses it well.
