Deck origin Inspired by Winning Hand Episode 77 — “Toe to Toe” — I built a Deadpool Aggression deck around the idea of baiting attacks and turning them into value. I’m not an Aggression expert, I just wanted to lean into the chaos: force enemies to hit me, soak the damage, and convert it into kills, healing, card draw, and tempo.

What makes it work (core synergies)

  • Marked + Toe to Toe: Mark a target, provoke it, then finish it with boosted single-target damage.
  • Follow Through + Toe to Toe: Take the hit, get an extra attack to immediately capitalize.
  • Moment of Triumph + Maximum Effort: Use health as a resource — take controlled hits, then convert that tempo into big heals and follow-up damage.
  • No Quarter: Converts overkill into card draw so extra damage becomes advantage.
  • Chimichanga Truck + Hall of Heroes: Sustain and turn being knocked into a setup — heal in Alter-Ego, draw, and come back swinging.
  • Resource package (Aggressive Energy, Montage, The Power of Aggression): Keeps the event economy flowing so you can repeatedly play Toe to Toe and follow-ups.
  • Keep Up the Pressure / Full-Body Charge: One copy of charge is searchable and helps finish targets that survive the initial provoke.
  • You'll pay for that take a hit remove threat from scheme. Deadpool Loves this.

Typical play pattern

  • Ensure you can pay for Toe to Toe (play Aggressive Energy / Montage if needed).
  • Mark or set up a target you can kill after it hits you.
  • Play Toe to Toe; enemy attacks you.
  • Trigger Marked / Follow Through / reactive events and finish with Katana, Maximum Effort, or This Card Is Fire.
  • Use Moment of Triumph or Chimichanga Truck to recover HP and resources, then repeat.

Final note I tested this for a few games and it did exactly what I wanted: force the enemy to hit, turn that hit into kills or card draw, and keep the pressure. It’s silly, aggressive, and fun — exactly what Deadpool should be. Feedback welcome.

Funny how two Deadpool Toe to Toe decks can be so different. I posted one yesterday that's like a peanut-brained version of yours lol. I love the Toe to Toe - Marked - Follow Through combo here!

Looks good! I was going to suggest Toe to Toe for the Thor deck you used earlier, but it works great here too!

@SoloMarvelChampion that’s a good idea too!

Also, Moment of Triumph is SO good with Maximum Effort, especially if the minion is Marked! Good stuff!

I haven't been a big fan of Deadpool, but this looks AWESOME! I'll have to try this one out!
