All You Need is a Shield and a Yo-Yo

It has taken me a while to figure out how Falcon fits my play style. My last deck, Falcon's Favor, really began to open my eyes to how great he can really be. Vibranium Microweave has probably become one of my favorite cards in this game. I knew I wanted to try him in leadership next, and then it hit me, Clarity of Purpose would combo well with the weave. This is the starting point that led to the birth of this deck
So What's the Plan?
Two crucial combos make up the skeleton of this deck. The rest is just fluff that you can tailor to fit your play style.
-
The first is the bigger piece. Focus on getting Vibranium Microweave, Clarity of Purpose, Captain America, and Quincarrier onto the table. This will guarantee that you can cycle your shield over and over again without having to use the resources in your hand. Bounce the Clarity of Purpose damage off your weave, and this cycle will allow you to deal a total of 5 damage per turn, without making an attack or worrying about being stunned or exhausted. An added bonus is that you have a defense of 4 now, and retaliate 1, which means you're really doing 6 damage a turn with this mini combo. Play Battlefield Awareness, and you don't really need to worry about taking any damage when you defend.
-
The second is a much simpler engine, Slingshot and Command Team. I made sure I had plenty of energy resources in the deck to guarantee Yo-Yo could be played every turn. Then use the Command Team to let her activate twice. If I did not have an energy resource, I would use one of the wilds from the previous combo to get her on the table.
It was as simple as that: defend, shield toss, and then yo-yo. Everything else was just a bonus on top of that. Especially Up, Up, and Away.
Conclusion
I'm a simple guy, and these two simple engines are just fun to play, especially together. I would highly recommend it if you are still getting familiar with Falcon. I would love to know what recommendations or changes you might make to this build.

Suit Up is an ingenious thought! Plus, it has a physical resource to help bounce your shield for late game, too, if you need it to. That is a fantastic addition. You can probably take out Stinger and Kid Omega if you want to keep the deck at 40, but I don't think that playing it at 42 cards would be bad either. Let me know how it goes - looking forward to hearing about your experience with this deck! |

Aug 27, 2025I’m a big Falcon Cap/Leadership fan but never thought of the Clarity of Purpose + Microweave with the Shield combo. Very clever. Love it! |

I love Clarity of Purpose with Vibranium Microweave, that's such a great combo I never thought of! At first I thought "that doesn't work" but it totally does because Clarity deals you a damage, and Microweave prevents a damage taken. Brilliant!
The only thing I might add is Suit Up. It'll find any ally and Clarity of Purpose, (because it can attach to any friendly, but of course you'll attach it to yourself), so find Yo-Yo and Clarity and you're setting up both of our combos!
I'll give this one a try!!
