Change of Fortune is one of Shuri's best decks in my opinion and this deck will build off of that. We're going to be focusing on defending and getting as much as we can out of those defenses.

I've been looking to find a spot for Ops Room since it was released and Shuri is a great fit for it. This is a defense deck that is not going to rely on perfect defense but rather letting Shuri take some damage allowing us to trigger Ops Room as well as Energy Barrier.

Turn one Shuri can exhaust to grab either a tech upgrade or one of her Black Panther upgrades and put it into play reducing the cost by 2. This allows you to get set up more quickly. I usually opt for her Panther Claws as they are a significant source of consistent damage and really power CoF.

Operations:

As mentioned We're going to focus on defending which allows us to trigger a BP upgrade when we do so.

Armored Vest isn't a necessity but is really nice for hard hitting villains like Juggernaut to lessen some of the damage we will take.

The combination of her claws, Energy Barrier, Ops Room and Electrostatic Armor means we can deal 4 damage from 1 defense, more if we have multiple Barriers out as well as remove a threat from a scheme (more if we have multiple Ops room out).

Northstar is really nice for villains who have multiple boost cards or if you don't have the damage mitigation set up to keep Shuri from taking too much damage.

Use "Come Get Me, Bub!" to draw a minion out as well as giving yourself a tough and some healing.

The beauty of her claws and energy barrier is we can defend a villain attack but deal the damage to a minion allowing us to potentially defeat it before it activates and give us card draw.

You can also use energy barrier/ops room to mitigate damage if you really need to thwart during your turn or are planning to flip and heal from Queen Ramonda.

Indomitable lets us ready up after defending which in 2p or more means we can defend for another player or allow us to basic activate during our turn.

When Energy Barriers are about out of counters, use Repurpose to dump it for a ready and power up your attack/thwart.

Don't be afraid to repurpose one of her upgrades if need be. You can always use Aja-Adanna to shuffle it back in and use her AE to bring it back out.

With the focus on taking damage, her Vibranium Suit can heal one back as well.

It's also worth noting that stuns and confuses can be erased in the villain phase. Both her claws and Suit are considered an attack while the beads are considered a thwart.

This can allow you to shrug one off after defending, ready from Indomitable and be able to use them during your turn.

In AE, Queen Ramonda can heal us up without needing to exhaust Shuri. Combo Ramonda with The Elephant's Trunk for card draw and set up a big turn potentially.

You can also fish out an Energy Barrier from AE with her ability as it's a tech upgrade. This can be really nice to keep your strategy going.

Ready to Rumble can then ready you to activate for your turn.

Support:

Brother Voodoo brings decent thwart and can find us an event. Really nice to grab a Repurpose and deal some damage/ remove some threat.

Nick Fury brings card draw or some burst thwart/damage. I usually opt for card draw as the deck has done a good job of handling damage/threat.

Spider-Byte is for value, since Shuri already has tech upgrades and we are adding more it's very common to play them for free or 1 resource.

T'Challa is her sig ally and once he's out we can really get extra triggers of her upgrades.

Subs:

What Doesn't Kill Me is really solid and provides healing/ready. It could be added and drop a copy of Repurpose or indomitable.

Forcefield Generator goes with the tech strategy but is on the expensive side and the barriers provide villain phase damage.

Dora Milaje suite are great with Shuri but they require a lot of resources. The other allies fit more with the deck strategy.

Overall this deck has been a ton of fun and performs extremely well.

I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!

Nice deck! Ops Room looks pretty awesome and going Protection with Shuri for CoF is really fun.

@boomguy thank you sir!

@D.M.Tip thank you! CoF is so great with Shuri, adding consistent threat removal in the villain phase with Ops feels really good

@marktry hard agree, she finds her way into a lot of decks for me

you are already at 42, but I've also used Nova to hit minions for 2 so that Change of Fortune hits more often if you have a COF heavy deck which you do.

@marktry yes I've used Nova in several decks in the past for CoF. Not something I wanted her as it requires keeping energy resources handy as well as the expense of getting him in play/keeping him around
