We have incoming! He's big, he's mean, he's mostly green, and he's angry!
This deck is mostly focused on having Drax go face as much as possible. He's trying to stay in hero form as much as possible, and has the healing he needs to do it.
The healing
Momentum Shift and Render Medical Aid are good for healing us, and First Aid (thanks Boomguy) is flexible as it can keep Mantis up or act as a bandaid for Drax. "Come Get Me, Bub!" helps heal as well as gives much-needed toughs to our boy here. Establish Perimeter will also help us eat attacks and get vengance
The readies
We have, of course, Limitless Stamina. What Doesn't Kill Me helps heal but we're mainly using this when readying is important, and Leading Blow also helps us get some minion damage in there to kill a small minion, then ready and punch the villain, or deal with bigger minions
The status hate
Unshakable helps us get steady, but the real star is everyone's favorite support, The Night Nurse. This will ensure pesky stuns don't slow down the stealthiest man alive.
The rest
Taunt is there to help us draw cards and build vengeance, but if you're terrified of deck sizes being too big, you can cut them. I, personally, FEAR NOTHING. Defiance helps keep villain attacks from getting too scary, and the allies, well who cares! They're just along for the ride.
I haven't played a ton of Drax, so I'm excited to take him to Con of Heroes and trying him in a big player count table. Let's see what two knives and some gumption can do!

Apr 22, 2025I’ve been building multiplayer decks with fewer resource cards these days: fun card interactions > tempo. Of course in this deck all the cheapo cards means you don’t really need em anyway |
Apr 22, 2025I'm gonna stun the villain when you're first player so he doesn't attack you :P |
Apr 22, 2025Love it! Drax is so much fun in Protection |
