This deck focuses on using threat removal and turning it into big damage. We'll do this by comboing Attack cards with his Assualt side of his suit to increase our damage output.

Setup:

For setup we want to make sure that we can keep threat on Fury's suit, pay for stuff and have the ability to ready.

Fury's Flying Car gives him the ability to ready once per turn by removing 1 threat from his suit. This helps us clear built up threat.

Fury's Watch allows us to remove up to 2 threat from his suit to generate a resource for each threat removed.

Secret Agent moves 1 threat from any scheme to his suit when we resolve a prep card which he has quite a few of as well as the ability to recur them through Agent Coulson and Practiced Plan.

Field Agent allows us to keep Maria Hill on board longer so she can move threat to our suit.

Specialized Training we want cleared to push Fury to 3 thwart and get the card draw when he makes a basic thwart.

Helicarrier allows us to reduce the cost of the next card we play by 1 and Agent 13 can ready it again after she activates.

Build Support can help us grab our car or the helicarrier easier

Superpower Training can find secret Agent or our watch.

Strategy:

As stated we are wanting to let Nick build up threat on his suit to then utilize when he thwarts to then play Attack cards boosting their damage.

To keep threat on the suit, we have:

His basic thwart which puts 1 on his suit.

Maria Hill who moves what she thwarted to his suit.

Super Spies which can be played when Maria is out to put 3 threat in his suit.

Eyepatch Camera which cancels the threat put on the scheme and allows you to put 3 on your suit.

Covert Surveillance which lets us put 2 threat on our suit if we're in Stealth.

Secret Agent which lets us move 1 threat from a scheme to our suit when we resolve a prep card.

In AE Safe House #221 can also add 1 threat to our suit.

We're also going to focus on playing and resolving preps that mitigate threat, cancel encounter cards and avoid damage.

With his thwart Boosted to 3 and the ability to ready once per turn its very easy to ensure we clear the threat from schemes. Once we clear the last threat from a scheme we can play Turn the Tide which normally is 3 damage for 0 cost but we can bump that to 6 using 3 threat from his suit.

We also have 2 copies of Waylay which is 7 damage when the last threat is cleared which Nick can bump to 10.

There are also 2 copies of Justice Served to get an extra ready after we clear the last threat from a scheme.

A turn can look like this:

3 threat on our suit to start the round, Maria removes 2 threat putting us at 5. We then thwart the remainder off pushing us to 6 on our suit. Play Waylay flipping to Assualt and remove 3 to bump waylay up to 10 damage. Remove another threat to ready with our car and attack for 4 leaving 1 threat on our suit for the villain phase if need be.

If Justice Served is in play, you'll have a other potential ready as well.

Between the helicarrier, his watch and drawing a 6th card from thwarting you will still typically have the ability to play something else even after playing a card like Waylay.

If there is still threat on another scheme you can play Covert Surveillance to remove 2 threat and hop back into stealth mode.

Or if there is a minion to take care of hit them with Concentrated Fire to flip back to stealth.

Prep Time:

Counterintelligence lets us cancel 3 threat when threat is placed on the scheme. This is really useful when we flip down as it can be activated in AE.

Intelligence lets us look at the top card of the encounter deck and swap it with an encounter card dealt to us if we so choose.

Intelligence Analysis lets us remove 1 threat from our suit to cancel a treachery.

Eyepatch Camera lets us cancel threat put on the scheme and put up to 3 on our suit.

EM Shield lets us avoid damage taken from an attack.

All of these can be found by Agent Coulson and can be recurred with Practiced Plan.

Allies:

Maria Hill is the star ally as she moves any threat that she removes from a scheme to our suit. With field agent we can keep her on board longer.

Agent Coulson lets us search for a prep card when he enters play. This can allow you to grab whatever you need like a treachery cancel or counterintelligence if you need to flip down.

Melinda May provides 2/2 and lets you look at the top card of the encounter deck when she activates. This can allow you to avoid a nasty boost or encounter card.

Nick Fury, Sr. provides either a tough to a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, 3 threat removal or draw 2 cards.

Grant Ward provides 2/2 but when a treachery is revealed you have to spend a resource or you take damage equal to his attack and remove him from the game.

Agent 13 provides 2 thwart and readies a S.H.I.E.L.D support when she activates which can allow for multiple uses of the helicarrier.

This deck has been alot of fun and is really nice to be able to deal some big burst damage in Justice.

I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with the deck!

I've just posted Another deck which feels very similar to yours. I like how are you using Justice Served while I'm doing almost the same with Ready to Rumble.

I like some of your ideas. I'm missing allies in my build, so I'm probably burrowing some ideas from your list. What I'm not sure about is Waylay. While I can see the need for some high value attacks, I feel that the economy of Nick Fury is not the best to add 3 cost events.

Also, don't you think that you would take great benefit from Heroic Intuition? Having 5 events which trigger when you clear an scheme this +1 can be great.

@wehehethanks for checking it out!

I tried out Heroic Intuition but didn't feel the need for it. After clearing Specialized he'll be at 3 thwart and with the ability to ready as well as 6 allies with 2 thwart I didn't see the need for it.

I didn't have issues with paying for waylay as once threat is built up on his suit, his watch and the helicarrier help pay for either events or preps.

Allies like Maria Hill and Agent 13 you can keep on board using field agent so you have consistent threat removal and don't have the need to continually pay for allies.
