Beauty and the Beast

The objective of this deck is to manage threats with Cyclops and other allies while playing Rogue and Wolverine.

With Wolverine’s healing factor, Rogue can use her ability on him each turn. This team-up can deal big damage all by themselves:

• Wolverine with his piercing = 3 ATK
• Rogue with her action on Wolverine = 5 ATK

HOWEVER, if you buff Rogue & Wolverine with different upgrades:

• Wolverine + Attack Training = 4 ATK
• Rogue + Attack Training + her action on Wolverine = 6 ATK
• Boot Camp gives +1 ATK to each ally. Then Wolverine has 5 ATK Rogue has 7 ATK.

Here's the strategy:

• Hard mulligan in order to get Rogue or Wolverine with resources or Meditation. If not, get Cerebro.
• Play Rogue first if possible since she could help Cyclops with her ability.

Then you have to play upgrades on Rogue and/or Wolverine. During setup, those allies can manage threats and/or minions.

When finally built, here comes the final push:

• With Full Blast and Exploit Weakness, Cyclops can deal 12 damage, Rogue and Wolverine can deal 14 damage total. Total: 26
• If you play 1 Game Time on Rogue: 8 additional damage.
• If you play 2 Game Time on Rogue: 16 additional damage.

Minimum possible damage (Cyclops, Rogue & Wolverine): 9 damage

Maximum possible damage (All built): 42 damage

Here are other cards you will need during your game:

• Pixie will help you get one of the allies if they are in the discard pile.
• Helicarrier helps with resources.
• First Aid and Game Time are important because they will heal Rogue and/or Wolverine. X-Mansion also helps healing.
• Forge can help to get X-Mansion, Cerebro or Utopia.
• Professor X and Tempus can help by blocking Villain's scheming.
