This deck is designed to work with this Leadership Psylocke deck.

Of all the X-Force/X-Men team up cards, I feel like Combine Forces didn't get a lot of hype but with the right set up, it's an event that can turn a scenario into easy mode by deleting a problem minion with a 1-cost event.

For the Bishop player, you're looking to assemble an army of X-Men allies, primarily hunting for Wolverine and Colossus, and keep them in play all game, while you tank all the damage.

Once you have a few allies in play, you'll use their boosted attack stats from Boot Camp to throw big damage with Team Strike. When it gets going, you can drop between 12-18 damage among all enemies in play. If everything lines up and Psylocke has Children of the Atom down, you can even exceed that by including X-23 or Cable in the attack. (Though I'll admit, haven't been able to pull that off yet.)

Once your Psylocke partner is set up, or if you get Children of the Atom in play, you can use Combine Forces to simply exhaust two allies to defeat a minion. This is great for minions with retaliate or toughness. Heck, even if that minion only has 5 hit points you've gotten rid of it and you didn't take any consequential damage. Using this combo against Mastermold is extremely fun when the Sentinel Mark 8 comes out or other scary minions like the dreaded Sebastian Shaw.

Also, once Psylocke is set up, you'll sometimes help Psylocke pay for Mutant Mayhem. For your part of the deal, you're looking to recur Triage to top up your hit points or get a heal on one of your damage workhorses. The anti-synergy here is Attack Training, since you don't want to lose that if possible.

Other than then that your doing regular Bishop things and trying to stay in hero form as much as possible. Ideally, you almost never head to alter-ego to help mitigate main scheme threat for your Psylocke partner.
