Key idea here is to load up your allies with upgrades to keep them around longer and let them hit harder. Mulligan for any of your leadership allies, or use Call for Aid to grab Iron Man or Ronin. Nova Prime is even okay in this role, since he has 3 ATK & 2 THW. Obviously, Yondu is fun since he doesn't take damage for attacking.
This is all theory, and my Starlord pack isn't here yet. Will update after I have a chance to play it.
