This new Hulk ally is crazy.
The idea here is to constantly defend with crazy amounts of DEF, and when the villain doesn't feel like attacking, you Bait and Switch or Taunt them so they do. Every time you get attacked, the response for the new basic Hulk ally is to get a rage counter. This means INFINITE scaling of his damage as long as you are alive and he is in play. You also can use your allies to chump block attacks to further roid him up (Colossus, Snowguard, and I guess Daytripper gets the job done too).
So the idea is to set up with cards to buff your DEF (like Defensive Conditioning and Innate Reflexes), weave in some cards to do some extra chip damage (Electrostatic Armor, Flow Like Water, Kurt's Cutlasses, and Under Control), while making sure you don't scheme out (Bait and Switch and Hard to Ignore). Also don't forget to keep Hulk alive (Render Medical Aid and Med Team).
General priorities are probably getting Hulk and any and all defense boosting cards in play asap. You might take some damage while setting up, but Med Team can probably help with that. Non hulk allies don't have as much value until hulk is in play, so skipping them until he is out is probably wise. Try to get out your extra resource generators when you can (Avengers Mansion, The X-Jet, Helicarrier) since they help get out the big expensive allies later on
Some notes: Flow Like Water actually works really really well with Nightcrawler as Bamf! is actually a defense card. So every time you get a free defend usage from Bamf!, you also do a damage. Pretty sick.
Indomitable is probably optional, but it helps for villains who attack one to many times on their turn or in multiplayer if you need more defend procs
