Aspectless Venom, starring Multitalented which is highly thematic given Venom's incredibly versatile hero kit. It is also highly synergistic with Symbiotic Bond making it easier to hit all three kickers to get the maximum benefit, while also healing the damage taken from generating the wild resource.

The Power in All of Us also serves the same purpose here but also pairs up excellently with C.I.T.T, once that is in play. The extra ready on demand is useful particularly for those turns where we want to do a hero activation, and then also flip down to heal, or for clearing status / exhausts and still being able to make use of his pistols with a basic power.

We are running a suite of expensive allies to take advantage of Venom's richness. She-Hulk has a bit of anti-synergy with Symbiotic Bond and is likely the first ally that could be replaced here. Still, generating 2 toughs upon entering play is powerful and with 4 ally slots thanks to Knowhere, you will have plenty of space to keep allies around for a while, without clogging up your ally zones.

The side-schemes help get your set-up pieces into play and also gives Multitalented something to thwart, if need be. Assess the Situation is kind of a filler card here, but again it's a flexible card that ties thematically with Venom's whole spiel. It also helps bump your event count to 17 meaning that Gamora should find an event pretty quickly on each activation.

Grant Ward is a nuts card with Venom, being able to use Symbiotic Bond in the villain phase to all but guarantee you get maximum value each time he hits the table.

I considered going down the path of Cosmic Alliance and running avenger allies such as Blade, Swordsman and War Machine, but decided it was not worth it in the end.
