Ninja Spiders are hard to see, constantly they Move in Shadow, Assess the Situation, and wait for a Chance Encounter to Entrapment its prey.
Now....here's a rare potato quality picture of a Ninja Spider-Man (it's definitely not just a few black strips of cloth)

Speaking of black strips of cloth, let's talk about Black Belt! We have a few ways to get this down:
-
simply play in a game with other Martial Artists, right now that would be Echo and Daredevil, but will also include Elektra and Iron Fist later this year.
-
find and play Stick, or target with Build Support
-
Get down Blindspot early and keep him around. He's also great combo with Webbed Up.
The main premise here is to remove as much threat as possible with Move in Shadow. There are a few inherent advantages to Peter Parker that I think really make this card shine for him.
-
he is a very rich character. Every additional card you gain and resource to spend is another way to trigger Move in Shadow.
-
In Multiplayer you can go to AE and convince someone else earlier in the turn order to go to AE for free with Entrapment. That give you both additional Hand Size and then triggering Entrapment on the first player then allows you to trigger Spider-Sense when you are then attacked later in step 2 of the villain phase and draw another card.
-
He has 4 events that are playable in the villain phase and each of those can remove 1 threat with the still in play Move in Shadow
-
He is a Genius which means Ingenuity and Moon Girl are available to him and remember, each resource and card is another chance at triggering Move in Shadow.
-
He also has two of his own web shooters, and well you get the point.
To top it all off Move in Shadow is not a Hero Response, so once you have Black Belt Peter's Scientist ability is the perfect way to start the turn by paying for it, and on the turns you end in hero it is great because if you play Moon Girl on the flip down it will still trigger it on her play and any subsequent cards played.
I do have one warning:
I did not play it against Ronan or Venom Goblin Expert/Heroic/Whatever
Instead I had fun playing this amongst friends which is what I built the deck for primarily and why I am bringing it to MC/DC in October, which will also have a Street Level custom content! Perfect for a ninja spider :P
PS. Definitely table talk when it comes to Webbed Up. Contingency Planning is great for Peter as it lets him hold some of his more niche cards. So then Webbed Up and Blindspot double stunning and confusing the villain could screw up some people's plans, but in other situations you will be praised. Again just talk it out and see if that is the best play, no harm leaving it on Contingency planning.
