Everyone Picks On Nebula!

That's not really Gamora being mean, but we all know that's how Nebula feels. We need to boost her ego a bit.

This is a deck I built to show Nebula (and her Father) that she is capable, and an equal to her sister. I grew up as not the favorite child, so I can sympathize with Nebula. The original title for this deck was Self-Esteem-Building Exercise. Early versions had allies with upgrades and Team-Building Exercise. Yondu just didn't know when to hold back so I removed all the allies and made the whole deck about Nebula.I also wanted to use some new cards, and Dynamic Duo and Righteous Purpose are featured prominently here.

This is a fun deck, and capable of big damage when set up. You do need to survive to that point though. I don't recommend Expert here, and villains that deal lots of status are difficult as well because they slow Gamora down during setup. When you are trying to build up someones confidence you start with the basics. Slowly get out your Upgrades while you just do Gamora stuff and keep the scheme clean. I always play this deck with a restriction: I only end the villain and any stages using Nebula. This deck is about her after all.

Cards that aren't super important:

Clear the Area you can always sub in your favorite thwart, it is just one I like to use a lot with Gamora. Threat is what will kill you in this deck, keep the scheme clean!

Unified Strike is a thematic choice. You are letting Nebula do the work but giving her a little help. I use it very rarely so feel free to sub in anything you like.

Superpower Training is just to get a 3rd PSS in, you need to be sure you clear at least one to get the good combo going. Getting Gamora's Sword in is helpful but not necessary. I really tried to use Second Chance here but I didn't find it useful.

Everything else is solid and at the numbers I feel works best. The combo is basically to hold out until you have Nebula on the board with Righteous Purpose, at least 3 readies from Command Team and Rapid Response and you have a full hand with Blaze of Glory and Mission Planning. Use up Rapid Response before you play Mission Planning and just profit from a 6 attack, 6 thwart Nebula with readies. No villain (without retaliate) can survive that!

Dynamic Duo is great here, it gets you Nebula (which is hard because she is the only ally) and some card draw. Don't play Daughters of Thanos, hold it till next turn! You likely won't play anything if you use it right away, hold it for a full hand.

Righteous Purpose feels broken. In the first iterations of this deck I destroyed villains too fast to get Nebula to do anything. A lot of 2 health allies (brought down to 1 health) can deal damage like crazy with +2 attack, and do it cheaply.

Leadership Training you keep laying around till your deck is nearly empty, shuffle in the combo cards the turn before you alpha strike.

Hope you enjoy playing this, I had a ton of fun building it.
