As others have mentioned, Peter definitely gets a glow up after Civil War and especially with See no Evil. I created a deck that was pretty similar to "Your father died by his own glider". After reviewing the Glider deck, I added Get Behind Me and Taunt. Some key changes include:
-Adding The Best Offense... to boost Peter's attack and terrible thwart. With this card and his DEF upgrades in place, you will get a stat of 7 which will power your In Harm's Way(7 dmg and 7 thw for 3 ER). Add in some readies with the Army of Oneand you're in business to attack/thw multiple times at a low cost.

Leading Blow will also see benefit and all but guarantee triggering the re-ready.

Same thing with Counter-Punch smacking an enemy for 7 is amazing. (I practiced this deck against expert Nebula and took out her 3rd stage in pretty much 1 turn. Taunted her then Counter punched for 7, readied with Army for another 7 then finished with a Swinging Web Kick).
-Taunt and Bait and Switchcan be used to trigger Stand Aloneto ready if you exhaust against the villain then didn't get attacked again by villain or minion. Speaking of minions, keep a weakling Pinned Downto ensure you have a second attacker during villain phase to trigger Stand alone and/or an easy way to trigger Unflappable. When ready, kill that minion or a second minion to trigger Change of Fortune. Electrostatic armor and Ronin will consistently drop the pinned minion down and eventually defeat to also trigger change of fortune. (Pinned down also earns bonus points for being thematic, like they have been webbed up).
- Contingency Planningis a nice way to ensure you have a webbed up/ pinned down/ spider tracer on hand for future usage if no minions are around.
-When low on HP, flip down to heal and draw a 6 card hand then back in action with Ready for a Fight.
All in all a very fun deck with some big swings and lots of Spidey fun!

Aug 04, 2026This deck includes alot of readies with a low cost curve. Couple that with Peter's great defense and card drawing potential. It also helps that he basically has no building to do for his own kit. The Best Offense... plus In Harm's Way are great with Peter. Prioritize the main scheme that is closest to completion. You can also be strategic and thwart down the scheme you want the special effect to result on (since the glider moves to location with lowest scheme). The 3 copies of stand alone are there to get it as soon as possible. I have seen similar decks, but I haven't seen others that utilize counter punch and leading blow. The Best Offense... plus Counter-Punch and Leading Blow are magical together. Say you have a Backflip heading in to the player phase. You can play best offense then exhaust to thwart. Use an army of one to ready. Then you do leading blow which will re-ready you again. Then play a Taunt or Bait and Switch to make villain attack. Draw a card from spider sense, flip and avoid all damage, draw more cards/thwart respectively. Contingency Planning is great to stash your Spider-Tracer s if a minion isn't around. Ronin and Electrostatic Armor provide steady damage. Pinned Down on a minion gives built in way to proc Stand Alone. Attacking for 0 damage is still attacking. |
