Chaos mutant

Some times in the comics Wanda is a mutant sometimes she’s just a really good mystic, well with this deck she’s running a mutant deck without being traited as mutant herself. So she gets a taste of the mutant play style.

That mutant life

X-Mansion, Danger Room, Utopia and children of the atom are all great cards for X-decks and they have no trait requirements so they come in with no rule bending. As do her allies Cyclops, Beast, Professor X, Phoenix, Forge, Havok and Cable.

that mutant mayhem

One of the best mutant tools is Mutant Mayhem letting you send an X-men and an X-force ally to your hand then put them back into play which can trigger some powerful enter play effects along with Utopia letting you ready another X-men ally. Another really potent combo is using Scarlet Witch's Crest to increase the damage Havok deals and use Unified Strike to cancel the consequential damage.

Here are some other cards I was considering and most X-men allies can be used to better adapt to the scenario.

Pixie lets you pull back an X-men ally from the discard.

Gambit stores an encounter card which with Wanda can both be bad and good.

Triage provides healing to an X-men character on entry.

Beak removes threat for each X-men character in play.

The Triskelion it’s not a thematic but it allows more allies to be in play at once.
