This deck is meant to be paired with my corresponding Adam Warlock deck. After a few plays, I was able to get a 96 damage turn, and that's definitely not the cap.
The goal is to thin your deck and play ready as much as possible.
Adam Warlock will be throwing every stat buff he can on you to get your stats to 5/5/5.
Friction Resistance is BUSTED
Stick-To-Itiveness turns into an additional ready each round. This allows you to defend for Adam Warlock in the midgame, and push more damage in the endgame. It also makes turns each Tenacity you get down in the early game into a free ready on a future turn.
If you have a floating resource from your last ready, it can pay for Adrenaline Rush or Civic Duty to thin your deck and set up an explosive turn in the future.
The 'Pool resources help you get cards like Avengers Mansion and Laser Swords out early while your stats are still low.
OTHER CARDS TO CONSIDER
- In my experience Superpower Training didn't really work. Quicksilver has four upgrades, and they're all high priority. By the time I had the chance to clear it, I often had all my upgrades out.
- Plot Convenience could help you get a second Healing Factor to Adam Warlock.
- Break Time, Deft Focus, and the 'Pool resources are all pretty replaceable. They could be swapped out for generic good-stuff cards like Ironheart, Nick Fury, or Professor X.
