"Good Luck." The voice on the other end of the phone mocks you as the sound of a plaintive meow reaches through the phone speaker before being cut off as the line dies. They have Alpine, and you're about to make them pay.
Bryan Mills* Winter Soldier has a very particular set of skills. Give him an Interrogation Room and that particular set of skills is more effective. This theme deck is all about using his particular set of skills to "interrogate" your way through a scenario by beating the absolute crap out of minions and the villain while using your team (Agent Coulson, Black Widow, and Nick Fury, Sr.) to give you support where needed on the way to reclaiming your beloved white furball.
If I had to pick a workhorse card for this deck, I'd say it's Stealth Strike. It sings in this deck. Five damage (if you're using Bucky's Cybernetic Arm) and four threat removal (including his response; five if you have Interrogation Room out and haven't already used it) for a cost of three resources is insane! The fact that you can split that threat removal up because it's coming from different sources is also incredibly useful. Being Multitalented isn't as useful, but it provides some healing along with damage and threat removal as needed. Basic attack the villain to go Upside the Head in order to confuse or stun the villain and give yourself a chance to flip down and locate more minions to interrogate using the equipment in Safe House #30. And pile a few prisoners up in The Raft to keep coming back for more information about where the villain has your daughter cat. Going Undercover is a good way to get ahead of the villain and line up some minions to pick off in the upcoming rounds as you continue the search.
Using Silent Infiltration is a great way to keep the villain confused, and Practiced Plan helps make sure you can keep him that way more consistently.
As you're doing all this running around violently interrogating the villain and his minions, you'll want to make sure you have your Winter Mask and Winter Armor on (hiding your identity with the mask being most important). Use Superpower Training to set up your Winter Rifle for those long-ranged shots with armor piercing rounds.
When you're ready, you can Lay the Trap to put some extra damage on the villain.
You should be able to do pretty well in finding your lost feline friend playing against standard villains with a moderate supply of minions with this deck. It does work in expert, but I haven't tested it at that level as much. And while it does function really well, it is a theme deck, so some design choices were made that ignore power. Overall, it's a fun deck that does a surprising amount of threat removal and damage in an aspect that doesn't seem like the most natural fit for Winter Soldier.
*Bryan Mills is the main character in the movie franchise Taken. This deck is kind of an homage to those movies.

Oct 27, 2025Great to see a Stealth Strike showing. Great call on how well it synergizes with Bucky. |
Love the theme here! I don't really like taking decks from marvelcdb, since I want to come up with those cool decks and ideas myself, but I will play this one for sure :)
