This is an updated deck from when I was struggling making Nightcrawler work in solo. It got me where I wanted at the time, but now that I've polished it up a tad, I think it's got legs. And when Boomguy mentioned one of the main cards in this build today, it seems as good a time as any to post this update.
Nightcrawler doesn't actually struggle with thwarting very much, and so most of the justice events in this deck are actually attacks. Of course we've got to talk about Brains Over Brawn. 2 thwart isn't much compared to Jean Grey or other thwarting masters, but if properly built 4 THW isn't bad. The idea of this deck is just to do damage while thwarting buying time as NC builds out, finds Kurt's Cutlasses and either uses Specialized Training to boost his thwart for the long game, or boosts his attack for the quick finish. There was a temptation to include Pivotal Moment but keeping to the theme of thwarting to attack I went with Waylay instead.
It's not the most optimized build out there, but I was able to win with the earlier version, and had a lot of fun with it!

I love seeing Brains Over Brawn here, it's a card that is so dismissed that it might be underappreciated now. It def has a place in the game!
