Once Bitten, Twice Shy

This deck is for the Winning Hand challenge to incorporate Toe to Toe into a deck...!

A card that deals damage to the hero for a reward can happily sit in many heroes' dscks, but for this challenge, I've chosen Black Widow to try and synergise with her Widow's Bite.

Minions are Fools

The concept is pretty simple -

Ensure you get Widow's Bite in play, and once a minion enters, use it on them....then use Toe to Toe!

Aggressive Stance helps you get Toe to Toe once a minion enters play , and if they are particularly hefty, then Lie in Wait can help soften them up.

Widow Attack!

I've added Melee in case the numbers of minions start to get out of hand, and No Quarter has been included basically because Honed Technique has!

With Honed Technique, Toe to Toe isn't increased that much, but it does increase No Quarter to 6 damage and also has the opportunity for you to grab Toe to Toe or Aggressive Stance if need be.

Supports and Allies

Since there is a focus on resources, Grant Ward is a valuable inclusion because of his 2/2/3 stats. He can't defend but at least you can keep him in like with a resource.

Hulk is to be purely used to defend...otherwise you're most likely only able to get one activation from him...and he's much more valuable to defend at least a couple of times;

Ironheart and Nick Fury are there for card draw;

Mockingbird to ping, stun an enemy (to agsin set up for Toe to Toe ) and block;

Deathlok us a good thwarter too...i haven't worried about adding a sidearm for him;

And finally, Winter Soldier is great if you can play him for free...just keep pumping out those prep upgrades, and Natasha should be able to handle anything!

Options

Consider swapping out Lie in Wait and a copy of Aggressive Stance for 2 x Marked upgrades - with Honed Technique there's opportunity for overkilling minions...so might as well put that extra damage to good use!:)
