Wanted to build a different kind of Maria deck that is able to stay in hero all game after grabbing The Circe turn 1.
Mutants are super fun, so I got together a bunch of mutants with enter play abilities and high cost for Circe. Caliban and Pixie are the main Mutant Mayhem targets to keep all your allies cycling back to the hand. Reminder that with Pixie , her ability doesn't trigger off of The Circe , but she's pretty low cost so that's not a problem.
I was playing this deck on Standard 2/Expert 2, so that's why I wanted to include the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. , otherwise I would've probably gone with 3 Command Team.

May 12, 2025@wehehe I usually run a more full package of the S.H.I.E.L.D supports for her, but I wanted to build something centered around the Circe and using Maria's kit to keep it alive all game (using it 2-3 times a turn). If I include the other big guys that becomes more difficult to do consistently. I've been playing on Standard 2/Expert 2 lately, so all the enemies being steady makes the Pericles less valuable to me, and staying in hero for as long as possible tends to be more important, but feel free to add them in scenarios they'd be helpful. I mainly only use the Iliad in the deck for healing, and then use all the allies to chump, you'll be able to have 2-4 bodies on board through most of the game. |

Nice idea ! I'm just curious about your supports choice. You only play one "out of aspect" S.H.I.E.L.D. support. Don't you think that a copy of The Pericles and/or The Bellerophon would be good for the deck?
In my plays I've found Maria Hill to be quite vulnerable in hero form. As you play Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and don't have The Pericles to reliable confuse the villain, I suppose you want to stay in hero form more than usual Maria Hill Builds. How are you usually managing defense?
