This decks hinges on all, Silk already has an in kit way of readying with Organic Webbing and we're going to supplement it.
The recursion is tied into the readying in this case. We're not chump blocking, we're going to be utilizing "You Got This!" to dump allies powering Silk's stats up, providing readies and card draw from Web of Life and Destiny.
Setup:
The key components for setup are:
Web of life- card draw
Organic Webbing- ready
Spider Claws- Boosted attack
Spider Reflexes- Boosted defense and tuck a card
Ingenuity- resource generator
Clarity of Purpose- resource generator and helps pay for Peter Parker
Albert Moon- provides free healing and can tuck a card for you in AE
Mission Leader- you can loop Get the Scoop with J. Jonah Jameson and have continual card draw but this isn't a main focus.
Face the Past helps with setup, provides a ready and a minion for Silk to tuck.
Gameplay:
The idea here is we continously play our WW allies, get our uses out of them and then dump with you got this for extra damage/thwart. The damage can really pile up with the right mix of allies.
With Spider-Man we can get a ready when he activates.
Combining him with Otto is where we can hit our biggest damage.
The play would look like this:
Swing with Silk using her claws to up the damage(to a max of 6) then use Peter to attack/thwart readying Silk.
Play Otto from hand and ready her claws again allowing us to Attack for 6 again.
Have Otto attack and leave play drawing a card.
Use Command Team to ready Peter attack/thwart for 2 more also readying Silk.
Use you got this on Peter to swing for 4 discarding Peter to draw a card and get another ready.
There are quite a few combos with you got this aside from this one.
You can play Spider-Man to thwart then use you got this to discard him and deal the damage to the villain with his ability while also drawing.
You can do the same with Ghost-Spider to boost your attack, get card draw and also grab an identity specific event from the deck. Really nice to grab Swinging Silk Kick for large amounts of damage or Wallcrawl to clear a scheme.
Hope Summers seems like a strange add but if you can time it right playing her in AE allows for a fun combo. Dump a tucked card to draw 2 then play Hope search your deck for Swinging Silk Kick and still be able to play it that turn allowing for some really strong damage.
The other big combo is using You got this to dump and ally then playing Make the Call or Across the Spider-Verse to bring them right back from discard!
The best use is with Peter Parker:
Attack with Silk and dump him using You got this drawing a card from Web.
Play Make the Call which also bypasses the required resources and bring him back allowing you to get extra readies from his activation or activiations if you have a command team in play!
Other Considerations:
Med Lab was one of the last cuts but I was getting much use out of it.
Spider-Man 2099 seems like an obvious include but he kind of goes against what the deck is trying to do. It was hard to balance allies going back to the hand and using You got this effectively.
This deck has been really strong and the constant readies/card draw is really fun. I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with the deck!
