Let's get this out of the way

This deck won't help with blocking, it also shouldn't help with attacking much, that's not the job of this deck. This deck is here to do one thing, and do it well: remove threat from schemes. It loves removing threat from all kinds of schemes. Main schemes, side schemes, permanent schemes, even player side schemes! SO, let it be known at the start of the game that you're not responsible for anything but threat removal. You'll hog all that thwarting to yourself. That being said, Spider-Ham can take a hit every now and then. It may even Let Spider-Ham save up all those toon tokens in his Piggy Bank.



These are going to be super useful for cards like Organic Webbing, which will allow him to ready up and thwart again, as well as Crisis Averted, Even the Odds, and most importantly Three Steps Ahead.

While we're talking about these great threat removal cards, don't forget to use Passion for Justice as well as Operative Skill for additional removal. It'll help a lot for a card like Three Steps Ahead, where if you were able to use both Passion for Justice and Operative Skill, you'd have up to 3 instances of 5 to remove from up to 3 schemes! Lay the Trap is another unique justice card where a large number of damage can be dealt to the villain. Don't forget all that threat removal will allow your teammates to piggyback off your success!

There's only two additional allies in the deck, Spider-Man and Vivian.

Did I stutter?

Parker helps Porker to ready and thwart again, which if you have Surveillance Specialist from Specialized Training and Heroic Intuition, you could potentially remove 12 threat in one turn just from Sir Pig Newton. Vivian is great at blanking out a nuisance side scheme for quick clearing (getting around any pesky "When Defeated" triggers. Chance Encounter will help you find Peter or Vivian in a pinch.

This isn't slop

Overwatch is fantastic for pulling double duty, but it won't help with cards like Three Steps Ahead as it'll be seen as multiple instances of removal. This is why it's best to combine with Passion for Justice and/or Operative Skill. Heroic Intuition buffs your base thwarting stat, and Sense of Justice is free money for playing justice cards.
