Have you ever wanted to, like, totally explode the villain? Well oh my gosh Becky, this firecracker is the deck you want. It is rad to the max!
Seriously thou, this works a little too well. Her X-Terminator pal Tabby might be the one who really brings the Boom, but MC gave Jubilee some serious firepower. The idea is to beef up Grande Finale, and then make sure you can keep drawing Grande Finale. The deck is pretty damage-centric, so it works best if you bring someone along to help.
The combo. You really want Jubilee's Sunglasses, and Warrior Skill on the table. If you can spend an Aggressive Energy with two different resources, and use a Warrior Skill token, that is 4+4+4+4+3=19 damage to distribute. If you were lucky enough to defeat Keep Up the Pressure before playing, it is actually 5+5+5+5+3=23 damage. Serious firepower without a huge amount of setup. If you only have Warrior Skill out, or only have an Aggressive Energy it is still 15 damage.
Starting:
Mulligan for Jubilee's Sunglasses, Warrior Skill, and X-Mansion. Try and avoid throwing away Aggressive Energy and especially Grande Finale.
Playing:
You want to focus early game on build out, and threat control. Shopping spree and staying in AE can be huge for getting Jubilee's Sunglasses and Jubilee's Coat. Both really help.
X-Mansion is also high priority. It helps with your low health, and gains you a card when you use....
Mutant Education is how you ensure Grande Finale is back in your deck. You want to end your turn in AE often. With the available confuses from Flash of Light, dipping into AE should be fairly easy. Good targets to go with Grande Finale are Plasmoid Energy.
Allies are chumps. Some of them are pretty useful chumps, but their real job is to tank damage and do it relatively cheaply.
That is it. Abuse Jubilee's kit. Stuff your deck with useful events. Explode everything. Between Firecracker and Grande Finale with Jubilee's Sunglasses damage output is nuts.
The Bad:
Villains with Stalwart, Overkill, and Steady pose a big risk to the strategy.
This deck is fun. Most fun so far was pairing it with this Cable-Maria hill recursion deck to get some insane card draw. Made for a few very short games in 2H Solo.
edit-
this was a quick late night publish, and I did the wrong rev. Oh well.
I would recommend. Changing out both copies of Meditation for Precision Strike. On the special occasion where you can finish off a minion for a heal, it helps.
