ive been using Maximum Effort with Forcefield Generator and Energy Barrier - So the damage taken and dealt can only be as much as Deadpool's remaining hitpoints - example: Deadpool has 9 hit points and he has an Energy Barrier up with 3 counters on it and a Forcefield Generator with 6 counters on it - Deadpool could deal 10 damage to the enemy - Energy Barrier Prevents one damage and deals 1 damage making the 9 plus 1. the Forcefield Generator prevents 6 damage. Deadpool would Deal 10 damage and still have 7 hitpoints remaining - having 7 of the 9 damage prevented by upgrades. if that's not allowed please let me know. Energy Barrier would also prevent damage from Deadpool's Katana and deal an additional damage.

please advise if this is not true. thanks.

the build with this deck is this: get Black Widow in play and keep her in play. get every Enhanced Awareness in play to pay for Black Widow's effect. this makes playing Return the Favorbetter since you can cancel the card if you mill out a really bad treachery. try to get at least one of Deadpool's Katana out and when you search your collection with Armed to the Teeth you should probably pull out Laser Swords

only chump block with Clea and Nick Fury

only block with Starhawk if it returns him to your hand

get up to 3 allies in play and try to keep 3 allies in play

or just rush down the villian full blast

I like to build out a little for the villian's first phase and by then you should be able to kill the villian's second phase in one turn.

Not sure if you've unlocked a really cool deck, or I misunderstand interactions here. Sounds great, if it works!

@TheMaskedHero thank you! I may edit the description soon however as the more I look onto it the damage dealt from Maximum Effortcan only be equal to damage actually taken off from the hit point dial. Since Energy Barrier is not a forced response you don't have to use it when you play Max Effort.

Right now I think that you would have to burn your remaining counters on EB and would only deal damage that was taken off Deadpool's hit point dial from Max Effort.

This is based off a ruling I found on She-Hulk preventing damage when using Focused Rage where She-Hulk must take the damage off her hit point dial to draw the card

This deck is wild to play and is alot of fun - at least for me it is.

@TheMaskedHerosorry edit "burn counters off FG" my mistake - FG is forced response. Right now i believe "take damage up to your remaining hit points means you can blast thru the counters on FG, take as much damage as you want from your remaining hit points then deal damage equal to the damage taken off Deadpool's hit point dial.
