Nightcrawler a.k.a. MC Wagner can block for everyone with impunity. Sure, it may take a bit of time to whittle down the villain, but he gets the job done.
I was consistently Defending for everyone at the table and was never once worried about my health. And it all the extra card draw with Unflappable and Change of Fortune I never felt too hard pressed for economy.
Additionally all the Hard to Ignore kept the threat down.
All in all, everyone was super impressed with Nightcrawler and were thrilled to have him BAMFing about the battlefield.
