Behind every great X-man is a great... Phoenix?
While playing Cyclops I sometimes get stuck because I don't have an upgrade to use to enable Optic Blast on a given turn. This deck mitigates that through two main methods:

Use Phoenix's enter play ability to find a helpful card. Play her once, trigger her ability, attack/thwart, then chump block with her. Once she is in the discard pile, then Make the Call to repeat the process.

Get a few allies out and then play Strength In Numbers to draw more cards. Doesn't really matter which allies are in this deck, but if they are X-Men traited then they have synergy with Team-Building Exercise and Utopia which makes playing them more cost effective.
Note that this strategy will break down if another player is using the Phoenix hero, as you'll not be able to play your signature ally.
