Thanks to the new rules reference for Marvel Champions, (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2023/5/18/rules-reference-debrief-1/), our dear boy Cosmo has finally been put down. Our sweet voltron boy is gone, which means Wong is all alone for our invocation cycling needs, and means our deck needs a massive rework.
The changes made to this deck were inspired by https://www.mchrec.com
All of our tron upgrade cards are out, and potentially the Leadership aspect entirely! Not really though; I was already running Get Ready, Make the Call, and Rapid Response even when we had the luxury of two cyclers. Now that Wong is flying solo, he needs to be supported and recurred whenever necessary.
Out: Cosmo, Comms Implant, Inspired, Laser Blaster, one Rapid Response, Mockingbird
In: Earth's Mightiest Heroes x3: I realized that the reason you people use this card is so your allies can tap down for Strange so he can keep casting. Love it. Summoning Spell dig for Wong, or an Avenger, or a blocker. Kaluu an extra body and digs for an event - we have 22 in the deck, Hawkeye
Future Considerations: We'd like more Avenger allies for Earth's Mightiest, and MCHREC suggests Black Knight
Could still use Honorary Avenger/Sky Cycle to give Wong additional uses. Plus it would allow Earth's Mightiest to exhaust another Avenger and ready Wong.
