Nova V Mysterio for GetUpandGame!PerfectMatchUp

Hi welcome to the twenty sixth in a series of decks I plan to build directly influenced by the amazing Get Up and Game! Perfect Match-Up series found here: https://youtu.be/1I2q3sT6FoA Please check out the channel and the video since I thought it was an amazing gift to the community and it inspired me to start playing Champions more regularly.

My goal with this series is to create a unique deck inspired by each challenge match-up in the video using all the suggested cards plus some of my own to create a deck that any player can use to check out the challenge. If you’re missing some cards from a deck please ask in the comments and I’ll do my best to find replacements from your collection so that you can have fun too! Hopefully I can build a deck that can beat the villain on both standard and expert. I’ll try to document any tweaks I made while playing the deck too.

Next up we have another first time hero for me as I build my first Nova deck to go up against Mysterio! Not suprisingly, Nova is very powerful! I had no trouble with Standard Mysterio or either of my games of Expert Mysterio with 3 back to back swift wins.

The idea here is simple. Use One Way or Another to grab Fool's Paradise and watch the cards flow into your hands! Grab Supernova Helmet and play card after card after card when combined with additional side schemes, minions and Unleash Nova Force. You can use Under Surveillance to stop the first scheme from popping and Wasp to get around the crisis icon. It can take a bit of set up but it will be well worth it when things go your way. Ms. Marvel will get your best events back into hand(Pot Shot) and you can use "Go for Champions!" when the encounter cards start to stack up! Attach Chance Encounter and Followed to your side schemes before getting rid of them and dont forget to trigger your Skilled Investigator too. Moon Girl and Ironheart will get you even more card draw and serve as great chump blockers too as needed.

All in all this was a pretty decisive victory and the easiest time I had playijng Mysterio! Hope you enjoy it too!
