too lazy to drag all the cards for tts so just jamming them here so I can import in, derived somewhat from some old lists but realistically theres not really that many good cards once you have selected an archetype and I've nicked concepts from a bunch of different decks like old gamora lists etc
A lot of this deck is cheap, 6 of the cards that cost more than 1 are made cheaper by Deft Focus the other two either return to hand strategically Starhawk or is Nerves of Steel so stays in play somewhat thinning your deck and paying for events on the villains turn.
the main package is the usual high defence upgrades strategy hitting the enemy for chip damage with retaliate/psuedo retaliate and being able to tickle the main scheme with Hard to Ignore which is one of my favourite cards since I was playing prot drax. We just kind of want to stay alive and chip the enemy a bit, get all of our stuff up and built and then kill the villain by just having a really thin deck that we are able to churn through with Assess the Situation to start chaining "I. AM. GROOT!"
I like Plan B as a cheeky win con, as if the assumption is we are playing 2 one cost spells a turn we should have one card left over to activate our little grim lavamancer, random discard sucks for sure but sequencing and the way the deck operates means this is just a little weirdo Element Gun
Get Behind Me! i saw in a bunch of old decks and given how brutal the obligation deck is for groot I think they're super necessary.
